I mean for real.
Considering they have the best player (or arguably at least in top 3) in the game, AND a top 10 in Drai, and they STILL are considerably irrelevant in the realm of team success during the whole time in having them, the Oilers are still bottom barrel organization with nothing to brag about.
That goal was absolutely nasty, and to dismiss it is trying too hard to #### on the team that doesn't need much help in doing so. We all know that the Oilers at the end of the year will inevitably still not be much of a threat when the post season comes around (assuming they even make it), but the reaction from some here in response to that goal and the fan reaction is like the Oilers are a legit cup contender and Flames fans are gonna have to suffer from the gloating.
Oilers living rent free in their heads. Chill, E=NG still. It is written. But that goal, and McDavid has gotten an appropriate response from the hockey world.
