Like Sutter said, it’s about performance, not wins necessarily. I’d say last night was a step back after about 8 or 9 steps forward.

I'd argue the Flames have outplayed their opponents in every game thus far. Look at last night's goals against... the first one resulted from a penalty that never should have been taken, the 2nd was a bad goal let in by Marky, and the 3rd was a fluky bounce. The team continues to play very solid defensively, and it's just a matter of avoiding taking undisciplined penalties and Marky cleaning up the weak goals against. Do that and they can win 2-1 or 3-2 on a nightly basis.
