I remember seeing Midsommar in a packed theatre. A lot of girls nights out and date nights based on the audience.

I've never seen a more uncomfortable looking row of people. My friend and I being horror junkies had a blast with it, utterly contrasting the experience of those on either side of us. I'd wager most didn't know exactly what they purchased tickets to.

There were a lot of disturbed/disgusted faces in our direction with how much fun we were having with that one, since we were big Hereditary fans going into it.

But that was on those people for getting tix to an A24 Ari Aster feature and expecting a charming little film about qaint life in a scandinavian village.

There were many blue balls that night.
