The thing I admire about Vegas is they are willing to take these chances, as much as I hate them I agree with the philosophy. It's an entertainment business, so mix it up, give us storylines and take chances. This calibre and age of player will never be on the market again for this price in the next half decade.
The flames trotting out the exact same roster as last year minus Gio plus Coleman and expecting a hugely different outcome, to me defies logic a little.
I totally get the younger fans today who are really disappointed and am a little less sympathetic to the older "everything will be fine" fans who seem to have accepted a mediocre product and a low risk strategy because it could go wrong if you take the chance. That being said I understand that Treliving might have done everything in his power to make change and just been unable to do it because the Sabres love Krebs so much and were just unwilling to deal with him.
