He could've said 'we're out' in September. And as much as I would have disagreed with it philosophically, it's not my job, so I could only be so upset.

But in classic Brad Try Hard Treliving fashion, he had to be 'in on everything', and in classic Brad Try Hard Treliving fashion, he dragged this out knowing full well he wasn't going to meet the asking price because he wanted the press coverage.

It's embarrassing.

Now, he's going to Panarin himself out of Johnny, without whom this team is offensively inert.

Of course, he won't learn from that, and he will hold Tkachuk's hand while he walks him down the aisle to UFA without getting back at least as much as the Coyotes got for Christian Dvorak. Who sucks.

Despite doing everything he can to trade Monahan, Try Hard will no doubt sign him to 8x$6M extension as he attempts to win back some goodwill from the fans and media - 960 will call it a team-friendly deal.

Like, what is this team's direction. We're 24 months away from Dillon Dube, 1st line centre, and not based on Dube blowing up.

This man is not a wizard, he's Marc Bergevin with worse hair.

He's Jarmo Kekalainin if Jarmo couldn't speak Finnish.

If the owners hadn't forced him to hire Darryl Sutter, this team would be fighting with the Kraken at the bottom of the division, because you know his next hire after Geoff Ward would've been someone like Mike Yeo.

He should be punted like it's 4th and 99.
A lot to agree with here. Once gain, I'm back wondering what the plan is here exactly.

In Sutter we trust I guess.
