I am happy wanting wins today, because I understand that wins in November count for the same points as wins in April, and teams that win lots in the season stand a better chance at transferring that ability to win in the playoffs.

To each their own. I just don't think a team with Elias Lindholm, Dillon Dube, and Mikael Backlund as its centre depth has a better chance at transferring that ability to win in the playoffs compared to a team with Shane Wright, Connor Bedard, Elias Lindholm, and Mikael Backlund, plus Dillon Dube.
