I'm sure it's been mentioned, but Vegas will eventually run into personnel problems throwing away players they've committed to, to always chase the next big thing to come onto the market.

They've certainly made sure their reputation is that loyalty is day-to-day.
While it won't exactly turn Vegas into a talent wasteland that no one wants to go to, it will certainly shape contract structure for players signing with Vegas. More trade/movement protection, less taking long term to lower AAV, things like that.
It will make for an interesting off season with Vegas trying to get players on discount due to limited cap space.
