We may have offered Tkachuk and Buffalo didn’t want him because of his qualifying offer, we may have offered Monahan and either Buffalo didn’t want him or he wouldn’t waive his no trade clause, at the end we may have offered Mangiapane but they like Alex Tuch better (I can’t argue with that) and they may have come back at us asking for Lindholm.
You have to have a willing dance partner. So the question is would you have done Lindholm, Coronato, 1st and 3rd…… I would not have.
