My honest suspicion here is that The Flames are nowhere close to Vegas' offer and these "leaks" or whatever they may actually be are just being used to try to get Vegas to up their offer. In short, I believe we're being used as pawns.
IF there is any truth to this, surprised at some's take on Tkachuk. Zero issue with moving him, he's nowhere close worth to his QO coming up and if there's any truth to the rift rumours then landing Eichel with him is probably better than what any other trade would get for him.
Someone made the Phaneuf comparison, bang on. Fan favourite but he has regressed significantly...let's just make sure the return is way better
