Brad actually made several shrewd roster management decisions there. Hamilton wanted out, Fox wasn't signing, Ferland was still useful but concussion issues were piling up. It turned out to be a big win. That's how I rationalize that package. guys who want out and aren't re-signing. Also, TBull8 can take a bow if it goes through.

I completely disagree I loved the Lindholm/Hanifin trade from the beginning. It looked amazing to add 2 former 5th overalls at 23 and 21. Ferland was a product of Johnny, Fox was not signing anywhere other than New York, and Dougie is a weirdo. I liked it from day 1 despite the risk.
Unless Eichel comes back and is a top 5 center in the league this is too steep a price and I feel is not factual
