You can’t just add Lucic to the deal. He has a role here and loves it here. He won’t be waiving for Buffalo. I still think Monahan needs to be shifted to a third team to make it work

I think for the Flames to close it they may need to give up Dube. Monahan could be flipped to Ottawa or New York. I would hope the Flames could keep Dube but this is a price I would pay.
