Either way it goes, Vegas needed to piss off from the beginning. All their injuries made them even possible to be in this conversation or perhaps it'd be done already.
But thinking more level-headedly (not sure it's a word), I'm not sure it makes sense for them? If they trade for him, it's because of their injuries but these injuries also make it a possibility that they are in lottery range for picks and I'm sure Buffalo wants that pick. Even if he comes back before the end of the season, it's risky and if he doesn't, they likely lose a decent pick, and whatever they have to get rid of for next year to be cap compliant. Am I crazy for thinking that?
