Obviously will take some time to get back into a rhythm and get up to NHL pace, but it’s not like the guy is bed ridden. He’s been an elite athlete since he was 15 years old and was skating during the summer.

2nd season with the new team. He could potentially start getting back to playing hockey after 3-5 months recovery. This isn't plug and play stuff. It's going to take a lot of time to ensure the experimental surgery holds up. I cannot fathom any team rushing him onto the ice. Like I said, it's gonna be similar to how the raptors used Kawhi during his season.
