Buffalo is dealing from a position of real weakness at this point. Eichel won't have much impact on any roster he joins this year because of the procedure itself as well as recovery, and then just getting used to game speed again after what will be a year away.
They're foolish for not making a deal in the summer. Their return just keeps going down. I'd move Tkachuk because I think he's going to be a real contract headache in the immediate term, and he clears a good chunk of cap space. Then one of Zary, Pelletier or a first is plenty, as stated above.
