My house is dark, not handing out any candy (I don't have any), and I just had a couple teenagers bang on the door repeatedly and quite loud until I answered the door and told them "my lights are off, I'm not handing out candy." I'll maybe put up a note if I get anymore knocks but I found that quite rude.
