If you are going to make a difficult trade...deal from a position of strength.
Some see this as a strong start with the fundamentals the same as they were this summer...which is a team half way between a rebuild and a contender.
Others see this as an underachieving team that had finally found the coach that will bring out the best in them with the window wide open.
Depending on where you sit on this scale makes you think the other side is crazy. For me...I think both are true. If we want to win the Cup...we need to either blow it up or go all in. However, since there are 32 teams in the league and statistically you make the finals once very 16 years...enjoy the ride when you have a winning team. It doesn't happen neatly enough for this franchise.
