I wonder if the reason why we haven't seen this deal get done is because Buffalo is asking too much when they should be the one compromising to get a deal done. I'm thinking that whoever gets Jack Eichel will probably get fleeced. I hope it's not the Flames.
Buffalo needs to get this deal done more than anyone because they basically have split up with Eichel and he has a potentially significant injury issue. Plus they have to move forward and get it all over with.
They're not in the bargaining position here and no team should give up what they're demanding in my view. But of course some team will. Will be bad if it's the Flames.
