The difference is that one player is much more valuable than the other.
The similarity is that neither player's value is infinite. There is always a price that is too high to pay.
An '89 Lada is not the same as a brand-new Lamborghini. You wouldn't pay $10,000 for the Lada. You wouldn't pay $1,000,000 for the Lamborghini.* There is always a top price.
