If Theodore is truly now in play, my bet is that the upped offer has to with getting Buffalo to retain salary to make it work.
Buffalo could flip Theodore for some pretty decent futures too.
Hell flip Theodore to Calgary for a portion of that package we were going to pay for Eichel.
