It's still early in the season, but this is the first time since the 1st half of the 2018-19 season that games have been really fun to watch. Obviously because they are not just winning, but winning convincingly.
If this is sustained throughout the majority of the season, this team is a legit threat.

Parity is so strong in the league that the difference between winning and losing is really marginal.
I think/thought the Flames under-achieved last year, were out of shape, played a poor system, and had a few guys have really off years.
And with all that, they were basically near the bottom end of the middle-of-the-pack teams.
So if Sutter could get them playing better, and playing
faster, there was room for them to move up. Because the difference between teams in the 18-20 range is not all that great from the teams in the 10-12 range.
The question now is: can they establish themselves as a top 10 team? That is the difficult part.
