I read the "300" comic book (I mean graphic novel) and was not impressed. I am not a comic book fan but with all the hype this thing has been getting I thought it would be much better. I really enjoyed Sin City so I'm assuming I'll probably really like the movie 300. The comic book, however, was not my cup o' tea. I just thought the dialogue in the book was ridiculous and I have no idea how someone can come to the conclusion that it is a type of novel. I mean, if you add up all the words throughout the entire 5 book series it adds up to maybe two pages of a normal novel. I'm not trashing people that enjoy these kinds of things but it really isn't up my alley.

All that being said, it took all of maybe twenty minutes to read the entire 5 book series so at least it is quick to get through!
