Worth a try since there's no indication of a rock hit. I know my dealership wouldn't do it, they tried to claim my whole electrical system was off warranty because I'd replaced the stereo in the car, and that my drivetrain warranty would be gone if I did aftermarket shocks and springs.

Did you have a mark where the rock hit? Usually i have seen a star burst type shape on a windshield where a rock hit. The crack starts at the edge of the windshield and is now working its way towards the other end....I would think a rock would leave some kind of mark or dent.
