With respect to Toews, he could have feelings for Bowman and Beach. It doesn't have to be one or another. If Bowman was good to him, I think it's important to state that. It shouldn't always be about being one sided. If he said Bowman was right and Beach was wrong, that'd be disrespectful given the facts we now know. But again, there's no reason to be upset. Bowman clearly meant something to him and he wasn't abandoning someone he likes.

Being forced to resign is terminated in hockey. He didn’t just say Bowman was good to him. He said it was unfair that they were “deleted” for “something that happened years ago”.
I’m pretty sure you haven’t listened to what he said.
