Sorry to be a downer; I'm apparently really having a hard time sorting through my feelings as a fan of hockey and the NHL.
I hope the Flames win tonight, but really, is it a big deal if they don't? I'm not sure anymore.

A wise and brilliant prime minister once said; '
People experience things differently'. I can respect your feelings as it's difficult when you find out people involved in an industry you are invested in are guilty of some really bad decision making that hurt some people. In the big picture bad things happen in all industries and all walks of life. Not saying we should accept it because it happens but there are a lot of really good people in the NHL as well that don't deserve to be thrown under the bus because of a few bad apples. People didn't stop watching movies after Harvey Weinstein was busted and that industry has a much, much darker history.
