I wouldn’t be surprised if no deal happens unless Buffalo absorbs more of the risk of Eichel potentially not getting back to his old level or even playing again.

I don’t think I’d want to gut a team with that risk hanging out there.

Betting if something happens Buffalo isn’t going to get what’s been advertised in the media.
