Tkachuk just playing hockey and getting points makes him a solid 6M/year player. If he wants that 9M/year paycheck, he has to be visible on the ice, and unfortunately he has been a ghost.
Maybe it's a chemistry thing, and I'd love to see him feeding pucks to Monahan.
