One thing I still can't wrap my head around is how much of a debate this all has become in recent years.
As someone who is 36, I can't really recall this being of significant debate or a serious matter of discussion growing up. It was almost just a matter of habit and something we all did because it provided us with the most opportunity for day light from my understanding.
