Looked like maybe the Devil was going to get around Gudbranson with that chip off the boards and Vali came flying across and stopped the play dead.
It's a very non sexy defensive play, but to stop a potential rush in the neutral zone, even if the puck ends up out of play, makes me happy as a Dman myself.
