I would say if anything certain American broadcasts have their white balance and contrast levels off. Also American feeds tend to superimpose more ads on both the ice or the glass near the benches in comparison to SNET.

Yesterday's Dallas/LA game for example:

I dunno. The other day I was watching One Soccer on a 4K tv, then shortly after watched a CBC hockey broadcast and it seemed like a night and day difference.

The old NBC broadcasts seemed much clearer and brighter and less motion blur.
