Calgary plays that kind of game the Caps are worst against. Lots of forecheck and disruption, but backed up by skill. Gonna be a tough one

Caps lookin like hot dog poop today

On both GA, Flames were allowed to hang out right in front of Vitek without issue. Guys need to start clearing the crease, especially on the PK (although admittedly that’s harder to do now within it taking a cross checking penalty). Until now, the Caps had been relatively good at preventing too much commotion in front of Vitek and Sammy.

First goal was soft, second was a great shot through traffic. They need to get their #### together on defense. Look slow both on legs and at decision making. Shades of last season.

Good question. I meant the poop of a dog on a hot summer's day, but any of those three scenarios work for this.

One more thing - our fans are so soft. Can we get loud? You paid $$$+ to.... be quiet? No wonder we play better away. Our fans have zero intensity it’s pathetic.
This isn’t a pathetic Redsk- Football Team. This is a team that won the Cup pretty recently. Act that way.

The Caps of old. Calgary looks like an excellent team today. Defensive woes. Not a fun game to attend. Might go home early.

I often feel like I'm waaaay too new to hockey to give any form of criticism, but the puck dropped midnight on my timezone and I feel like I'm way more awake than the lads.

Bummer. I felt that it was inevitable in OT the way we were skating. Not enough urgency

Dammit. Ah, well. Caps got a point after starting down 0-3. A big old wash.

One other thing I like to point out, the Caps have not played well in either OT and that is why they have lost both. Seems they are lacking a killer instinct in OT so far.

I don’t see OTs going our way very often this year. Trying to figure out what Wilson was thinking that one play when he had possession. Honestly I don’t think Wilson belongs out there 3 on 3. Not suited to his game at all.
