Kind of annoying watching 2.5 hours of a movie and not getting a real conclusion to the story.

Villineuve made the decision to split the first Dune book in half, so ideally, WB will greenlight the 2nd movie so at least the entirety of the 1st book will be covered and provide a 'conclusion' of sorts to Dune (book one)
I think DV was thinking of a trilogy, that would cover the first 2 books...its been a long time since I read the first 3 books however, so not sure what is lost if the 3rd book isn't turning into a movie
