Thanks for your game takes Bingo and included fancy stat highlights. Reading that Mangiapane and Dube struggled went against the bias I saw the game through which hopefully helps me see things more objectively going forward. In another thread I expressed that I thought Dube was our most dynamic center, but I must have been ignoring a few sequences where that line got hemmed in their own zone and it was a bit of a fire drill. That said, I hope Sutter has patience with that combo and tries to keep their matchups against weaker competition because they also provide the fastest counter attack of the lines on rushes through the neutral zone and turnovers.
Another thing I see today are fans extolling how good of a 3rd the Flames had, but while being better than the 2nd for sure, Markstrom had to be very good late in the game as juicy chances were given out by the team uncharacteristic of a Sutter identity.
