I'm not saying the Flames were putting his health at risk. I presume if he was playing, it wasn't compromising his long term health. I take issue if his playing through it and not getting shut down for the season delayed surgery from taking place, thereby putting his health for this season in question.

This article, I think rightly, puts the asset management in question, based on his being injured in game SIX(!) last season.
