What I mean is that "we" as in the people in Alberta shouldn't base out decision on DST or not with the NHL start time as a major factor. Of course Rogers and the NHL care. They can deal with that. Honestly, if the decision is to play games at 9pm local time to cram in a doubleheader, that's their choice. There's no reason they couldn't play the game earlier in local time to make that fit their slots though.

And my point is regardless of how they decide to address it, the province shouldn't be basing a decision like this on how hockey games might be played. That should be pretty far down the list of considerations.
