As for the iphone, you're looking at two years at least. Doesn't the company in the US who's launching it have proprietary rights to it? Which means that Apple won't even be able to seel unlocked GSM versions of it. You have to wait until their proprietary time frame runs out first. (I think I recall hearing 2 years somewhere...)

Yeah...seen the above, but was wondering about any advanced rumors mostly. As for the deals, yeah, the telus-to-telus thing just isn't working as most people are just not telus customers. It would be nice to get 200 daytime minutes, after 6pm unlimited (inc. weekends), per second billing, caller ID, voicemail and unlimited texting + a deal on a new phone for a year or something

. I don't know...how much would it cost to break out of the contract in a couple days if I find a phone/plan that Rogers is offering (plan ends in November)? Actually, I'm not that unhappy with Telus as I was a few months ago, but from the rfd site, there are rogers-to-rogers deals available with minimal service charges and more minutes and stuff, plus Rogers simply has phones that I like more. Just "appears" to be better bang for buck.
