Agreed but support players are always easier to find. Look at Derek Ryan score on us first game this year. He’s a good support player. Hyman is going to be a good suppprt player that feasts playing with that group. They get a couple top four dmen and they are looking dangerous. Those dmen will be expensive but they can mortgage their picks a bit considering the need to really exploit the players and window they have to win. Out of the two teams: Calgary and Edmonton. Who wins anything relevant first?

McDavid is at the age where drafting/developing players to surround him has passed. He's in his prime and yet he doesn't have much of a supporting cast due to bad trades and signings that has that team up against the cap with little wiggle room.
