I think that's right, now that you mention it.
Does feel like a short leash though as he was not the only one on the back end making mistakes. And then on the other side he appeared to be doing a lot positive things too. On balance I actually liked what he brought in his limited minutes.
Now the projected line-up for tonight is out and it does look like he's the odd man out.
I certainly see both sides of this argument. But if the coach's are asking for something that he's not consistently doing, then I can certainly understand why he's sitting tonight. I suspect we'll see a lot of rotation in that bottom pairing and I'm sure he'll get another chance again soon.
Like Cali said - it's about risk management. If he can lower the risk while utilizing his skill set within the system, he could be an important player for this team this year. I hope he gets another chance very soon.
