It's not CBC it Sportsnet, owned by Rogers, Rogers also paying McDavid as spokesperson.

Oilers have been over backwards for Sporstnet, and as well pushing on Sportsnet to promote him since drafting McDavid.
They turned John Shannon from the National insider guy to be a panelist on regional Oilers games.
I am surez as part of the sales job they do to keep McDsvid internally on the Oilers (ditching the guys he doesn't like, signing Hyman) they also push Snet to do this part to keep McDavid in Edmonton/Canada by some of this garbage bias.

Never forget McDavid the steamship while Gionis a tugboat supposed to get out of his way.
McDavid and Lowe complain to whoever will listen and those at Sportsnet are jock sniffers.
