This is where Lanny misrepresents my views. I'm not advocating for burning the whole system to the ground (not yet anyways), but if radical changes aren't made sooner than later, that's exactly what we're going to see.

The US is over, stick a fork in them their done, we need as Canadians to work out how to minimise any damage their break up does to us, I suspect we end up with 2 or 3 new countries to the south of us within the next 10 or 15 years
