The problem is that you've likely set up your Shaw e-mail on both devices as a POP3 account.

POP3 downloads the messages instead of leaving them on the e-mail server, meaning you're going to get this behavior where messages at the time you check will download to that device and only that device.

You need to set up Outlook to connect to your Shaw e-mail account using IMAP:
