Agreed on everything else people have said about Chu. He's not bright, he does dumb things like take pictures of bike lanes at 11 AM on a Tuesday in January and complain about them being empty but if he'd been there at 8 AM it would have been in use.

It's disingenuous, not helpful, and he's not a builder. Plus his close ties with the UCP and especially Magliocca are troubling to me.
As someone that grew up with a father that was elected in all three levels of government (municipal, provincial, and federal), and can say with complete honesty that the most impactful vote you have as a citizen is your local councillor. There is an absolute, direct relationship between the work your councillor does and your standard of living.
