Gaudreau clearly develops loyalty with his linemates. There's a reason this organization signed both Buddy Robinson and Bill Arnold. I don't see that as a negative for Gaudreau though.
Overall, it appears that Gaudreau is responding very well to Sutter's direction. If Gaudreau leaves the Flames, it will have nothing to do with playing with Monahan and everything to do with him always having planned to return to his own hometown.
In other words, I can't see moving Monahan as being the straw the broke the camel's back here.
