Wow, that's a horrendous deal for the Flames. I mean absolutely brutal. Leeman level brutal. Two first round picks AND two of our top three prospects, PLUS a top six center who would be their number once center. Doesn't matter that we dump a bad asset on them or not, you've just created a four year hole in our development program. That would be horrible. And come on. No one is taking on Lucic's contract. It's just a non-starter. Even though his salary is less than his cap hit, that cap hit is still ugly. I don't see any way he waives to go to Buffalo either.
