I think so, but they will be playing more modern music overall, and not late at night only.

The satellite radio service launched on December 3, 2005, at which time the weekend program on CBC Radio Two became a live simulcast of the satellite radio service. The main CBC Radio 3 website relaunched a few days earlier, now featuring a collaborative music blog and an Icecast stream of Canadian music.

On January 17, 2007, the CBC announced that as of March, CBC Radio Two will no longer air the Radio 3 simulcast. CBC Radio 3 has announced that on March 17, the night of its final simulcast on Radio Two, Christine Fellows and John K. Samson will perform live in the network's studio. The R3-30, which is usually taped in advance and rebroadcast on Radio Two in a later time slot, will also air live from Vancouver that evening.

The Signal is a Canadian radio program, which will debut on CBC Radio Two on March 19, 2007. Devoted to contemporary music and airing from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. nightly, the program will be hosted by Laurie Brown Mondays to Thursdays and Pat Carrabré Fridays to Sundays
