I saw the Marek note saying the Flames were the closest in on a trade proposal earlier this Summer. I saw a random HF post from earlier this summer and I'm seeing references to Twitter being hot on Flames rumour mill today with Eichel.
Did something actually happen today to support the mania I'm seeing on CP regarding Eichel coming to Calgary, and now, that also being the "potential" holdup in Johnny extension negotiations?
Really hoping I'm missing something because otherwise I'm baffled people have this much faith in Tre, who other than less than a handful, seems allergic to trades.
