I think how he moves between a victim and superiority complex is what gets me.
From self-loathing to pompously ungrateful, with little middle ground. Meanwhile people have given him every chance to be a part of the group and fit in, but he refuses to take it. It seem he's drawn to the alienation of either being a loser which is what he's always known, or the alienation of greatness. Either way, he stands alone. He's obviously going to realize how much that sucks when it dawns on him all the bridges he's burned.
Should be a good season. Ted averting the bubbly water this time was funny, reminiscing on the ending of last season.
And holy #### the savage rant from the billionaire was something else. Sam handled it like a boss. Unperturbable.
