Gaudreau, Tkachuk and Mangiapane all seem to be in excellent early trim. If those three guys are going then it's reasonable to expect Lindholm, Backlund, Dube and Coleman to feed off it.
FWIW just because the last 2 Captains were long term doesn't mean they always have to be Captains for 8-10 years. I'd be fine with Looch being Captain for 2 seasons. Fitting conclusion to a great career and he's played really well too and it would rub the wound into the Oilers.

I agree with you on Lucic. I look through the line up and he’s the only guy that I think fits the bill personality wise. Most of the others aren’t that good with the media, are too new or are bit players on the team.
Maybe Tkachuk eventually if he decides to stay?
