I'll be honest. I'm not very excited at all about the coming Flames season but if they had a horrific start over the first two months that put them in the bottom 3 of the standings I would get a lot more excited as it would mean a management change in the horizon as well as the high draft pick this organization so dearly needs. As well if they got off to an amazing start I would also be much more excited of course. Basically any direction north or south of spinning their wheels in mediocrity is what I'm hoping for. Finishing 9-10 in the conference or finishing 7th or 8th and getting bounced in the first round is worst case scenario.
