As I said earlier in the thread (or in another thread), I was in Wpg at the time. Everyone knew that they couldn't keep Tkachuk, Selanne and Zhamnov. Unfortunately, they kept Tkachuk.
Everyone knew that the Jets were done in Wpg regardless, but this was the final nail in the coffin for the franchise - one final, disastrous ####up to put a nice layer of icing on the cake.
It was plain then with dad, and it is plain now with the boys... they only care about one thing: Tkachuk Inc
