Ideally he doesn't get tripped in either play, but to me it's a dangerous play by McDavid and should draw some goalie interference calls like in this clip. At the same time, he's going to get tripped by defencemen too as they attempt to defend such a difficult play, but the resulting collision is almost always going to be dangerous.

Trip or no trip, he is smashing into Markstrom there.
One of these times he is going to seriously injure himself and/or another player. I hope it isn't against the Flames for we all know the blame will be put on the other player for prematurely ending the career of a superstar. It is reckless and idiotic.
